❈ Mala of Perception ❈

$144.00

I was beading Mala gently as always, when suddenly the cord snapped in my hands. I was stunned. It had never happened to me before! This was during a creative getaway and the energy surrounding me at the time was strange and palpable. I felt myself trying to melodrama-tise the situation. But a deeper part of me refused to feel anything but settled. I learnt the lesson there and then – I needed to proceed with trust and to keep the vision clear in my mind. So I did, and the break has had no effect over the stunning nature of this piece. I share this story so that if you’re called to wear this Mala, you’re reminded of how perfection can come from any challenge. This piece helped me broaden my perspective, ditch the confusion and find peace in the situation. I know it’ll do the same for you.

I have discounted this piece due to the repair. But I assure you that it is unnoticeable, unless the piece is scrutinised.

Choosing Your Mala

This is a very personal and sacred experience. My advice is – don’t go with what you think you need. Be drawn to the piece that catches your eye because it feels right. Whether you use these beads for chanting or meditation, or just wear them because they’re beautiful, I know they will feel absolutely amazing in your hands.

Mala Care

My Malas are made with high-quality silk thread, which is a natural fibre. I may also use other organic materials such as wood or seed. As such, my Malas are not bulletproof. They can wear over time, and eventually may snap. Therefore, they must be taken care of to ensure that they last a long time. This means no tugging on them, getting them wet or greasy.

Mala Repairs

Some Malas last a lifetime, others can eventually break. When a Mala snaps, it symbolises the end of one cycle and the beginning of the next. If your Mala breaks within 40 days of purchase, I will happily restring it for you for free. After this point, I charge a $40 fee for restringing. I do my best to replicate the original but please note that for particularly unique pieces, this may not always be a possibility.
